ABOUT
This project was very easy for me because the client was a young guy of my age who made decisions very easily. I'm very happy with such clients because they give design freedom. The centerpiece of this stylish and concise interior is a 65-square-meter apartment on the 10th floor of a newly constructed building in Lviv city. The project got its name from the residential complex it's located in. The thing I liked the most was the windows. Even though the columns between them block some of the light, they strongly resemble the division of window structures in modern buildings in Barcelona.
We chose a minimalist design approach characterized by bright and clean design with distinct forms, where materials complement each other, creating a unified interior composition. Additionally, it was a common decision to incorporate as many natural materials as possible.

Every line, every surface of the furniture is an exemplar of symmetry and tranquility. There are no superfluous details, only purity and maximum spatial freedom.
Details, as I love them, are the elements that infuse the interior with ideas and meaning. The more time you spend in such a space, the more you understand the effort put in by the craftsmen and everyone involved in the project to ensure that all materials harmonize with each other and that all structural elements have a logical completion, from the ceiling to the furniture.
The spacious layout of the studio allows for hosting a large number of guests, which was one of the client's main requirements. The functional zones were successfully divided using furniture, lighting, and flooring materials, as tactile sensations provide a complete picture of space organization.
The entry zone integrated with the studio used to feel like a panacea, but after the TV series "Friends" hit the screens, many questions disappeared. Now, it's not so scary if your neighbor sees your main room; design and architecture have no place for stereotypes.
The furniture manufacturers who worked on this project remind me of jewelers in some ways.
The bedroom. The main goal was to combine a workspace, a cozy sleeping area, and a wardrobe. By working with the zones and materials, the bedroom retained its warmth and gained a space where the apartment owner plans to spend most of their time, as they work on a computer.
Vertical lines as the foundation of the bedroom's design create a visual effect of increased room height. It's a simple yet effective technique, isn't it?
In addition to the details, I made sure to pay attention to the lighting. The interplay of shadows and the absence of visible light sources are indicative of a well-thought-out space. A variety of lighting scenarios allows the use of the room for different functions at different times of the day.
Just take a look at the angled photos, the sensation of lines in the interior that accentuate each other's shapes. That's what design is all about.
Incorporating vibrant artwork into the interior can create a unique and sophisticated atmosphere. Artworks by the renowned artist Sergiy Slepko, which carry a special meaning, will add uniqueness and depth to your space. Each painting is an expression of the author's individuality and creative vision, making them more valuable than ordinary printed posters.
Indeed, it's wonderful when people appreciate art and choose original works, as it contributes to the development and support of artists. Each painting can tell its own story and express various emotions, creating a distinctive atmosphere in the room. Choosing such artworks for your interior can truly make your space special and memorable.
A spacious bathroom with a shower and a large sink, it's not often you can accommodate a washing machine in such a room. In this project, everything turned out simple and tasteful, as it seems to me.
We wanted the base of the wall tiles in the bathroom to resemble the appearance of sandstone.

And in general, when a client chooses a designer, they should inherently trust them because the results of their work will surround the residents for most of their time. So, what's the point of changing everything that's proposed? But that's a separate story for contemplation, more about the everyday life of designers. I'm very pleased that the owner of this wonderful apartment placed their trust in me, and the results continue to delight them.
